A real success: The 3rd International Conference on HOT SHEET METAL FORMING OF HIGH-PERFORMANCE STEEL, CHS2 2011

With 56 presentations and more than 240 expected participants, the 3rd International Conference on Hot Sheet Metal Forming of High-Performance Steel – CHS2 2011 was accommodated at Kongress Palais Kassel from June 13th - 17th, 2011 in Kassel, Germany.


Among the multiple topics addressed by this conference, the main focus this time was clearly directed towards tailored properties, heating + cooling, tools + dies, parts + processes, coatings + corrosion and modeling + simulation.

The scientific and industrial community was further strengthened and new results and developments from the growing international research programs were displayed.
